Meet the Media Series

Webinar

Chapter Meeting   An opportunity to network with your fellow PR professionals and attend a luncheon with an exceptional speaker or panel to increase your knowledge of emerging trends, strategic thinking or improve your skills.

Communicators Conference   A joint venture of PRSA and IABC, this half day Conference takes place every spring. Workshops led by top communications experts enable participants to gain practical skills for use in the day to day work environment.

New Professionals   If you are new to the public relations field, the New Professionals events provide critical skill building opportunities in addition to fun networking and social gatherings.

Spotlight Awards  PRSA-PDX's most festive and spirited gathering of the year to honor outstanding work in public relations, to recognize individuals who advance the profession and to have a great time. This annual awards program is an event not to be missed.

Other  PRSA hosts a wide variety of other events that do not fall into the categories listed above.

Seminar  Timely and relevant programs that focus on hand-on expertise and skill-building instruction. These programs get down to the nuts and bolts of effective public relations.

Networking  Open new doors and build relationships with these fun networking events at some of our area’s newest hot spots.

Seasoned Professionals  The Seasoned Professionals Section is limited to Public Relations practitioners with at least 15 years of experience. Both members and former/non-members are welcome.

Meet the Media Series  Held bimonthly, these events feature a panel of reporters, editors and publishers from a variety of media outlets for a Q&A of media trends and best practices in pitching.

Webinar  Short for Web-based seminar, a presentation, lecture, workshop or seminar that is transmitted over the Web.
