PORTLAND, Ore. – Veteran reporter Paul Linnman will share stories from his nearly four decades spent in Portland newsrooms at the Portland Metro Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA)’s July media luncheon. The event will take place on Wednesday, July 27 in the Plaza Conference Room of World Trade Center 2, 121 SW Salmon, in downtown Portland. Registration and networking begin at 11:30 a.m., followed by lunch and the program at noon.
Linnman, host of KEX Radio’s Morning Update since 2003, is well known for his 25 years with KATU TV where he served in a variety of roles, including news anchor, producer of the “Spirit of the Northwest” news series, sports director and news reporter. He also worked at KGW TV, spent time as a magazine and newspaper freelance journalist and authored two books: “The Exploding Whale and Other Remarkable Stores from the Evening News” and “Oregon Golf.”
